From Andover, Lawrence, N. Andover area -- follow Rt 114 East  all the way into Salem.  Pick up directions at the *

OR  Follow Route 95 south to Exit 50.  Bear right and follow signs to Rt 128 North.  Take Exit 25, Route 114 East  toward Salem. 

* Follow 114 -- the road takes a lot of turns, but is clearly marked. Follow the signs to Salem Historic District.  After entering Salem on 114 you will go over an overpass (after large gas station on left) and then bear right onto Route 107. Pass the commuter rail station on the left. This is Bridge Street. You will see a large yellow apartment complex on the left, and the old Salem Jail on the right.  After the old jail, which is now The Great Escape Restaurant, bear right to stay on Bridge Street. Go about 4 blocks and turn right onto (very historic) Winter Street.  The Salem Common is straight ahead.  Take another right onto Washington Square.   Look for the Gazebo on the Common.
